Yüce Science High School was established in 1988 as the first private high school in Ankara and as the second one in Turkey.Yüce Science High School aims to educate mathematically and scientifically talented students as individuals who are able to use new technologies, make projects and produce information.
Teaching language of the school is Turkish. English and German are taught as foreign languages. Yüce Science High School lasts for 4 years. Yüce Science High School follows Ministry of National Education Science High School Curriculum. Facilitating laboratory work in science lessons is of great importance.
It is compulsory for all students to take part at least in one scientific/mathematics project individually or within a group during high school education. The projects are assessed at the end of the term it is turned in and directly affects the Grade Point Average. Students are encouraged to attend project works and competitions locally and internationally. Social clubs and activities support interests and abilities of students’ who take science lessons.
