Yüce College is an Anatolian High School,which traditionally provided more lessons in a selected foreign language, standing under the Ministry of National Education.  It has an additional year of preparatory class in English. Teaching language of the school is English. International Baccalaureate-Diploma Programme has been implemented at Yüce College since 2006. Yüce College is accredited as an IB World School by International Baccalaureate Organization which was founded in Geneva, Switzerland in 1968 as a prestigious, worldwide recognized and non-profit educational foundation.
The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment.
These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.
The IB offers three challenging programmes of international education and these programmes are implemented successfully over 1,010,000 students in 3,371 schools in 141 countries. Programme Development and Assessment are carried out by the International Baccalaureate Organization. The students, who graduate from high school and successfully complete the assignments of Diploma Programme, obtain both the International Baccalaureate Diploma and Ministry of National Education High School Diploma.
The International Baccalaureate Diploma gives students opportunities of being awarded with various scholarships in Turkish Universities in addition to providing admissions to distinguished foreign universities. The IB diploma program is offered during the last two years (11th and 12th grades) of high school. During 9th and 10th grade, students get prepared for the Diploma Programme. As a testament of academic honesty and intellectuality, International Baccalaureate Diploma gives students a responsibility towards the learning process, necessary skills and discipline to be successful in a competitive world
