YÜCE Primary School was established in 1996 and is located on the Oran Campus in Ankara. School hours are arranged as 8 hours a day, 5 days a week and totally 40 hours per week at all levels. A constructivist educational approach is implemented at all levels to develop students’ skills, abilities and individuality in accordance with the principle of learning how to learn. Yüce Primary School has been implementing International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme since 2006 align with Ministry of Education Primary School 1-5 curricula.
In Yüce Primary 1-5, all to be acquired skills and competences required by Ministry of National Education are undertaken within Primary Years Programme transdisciplinary themes. An integrated curriculum is designed instead of a structural curriculum. Thus, lessons are linked together and inquiry based learning is attributed by students.
School field trips are regularly organized for students to study, analyze and do research on the subject matters they learned.  Students are given the opportunity to present and share their competences by taking part in national and international research projects.
